What color should I paint my kitchen cabinets?

I get unfinished cabinet so I could paint them. My kitchen is a blank slate, I do not know what to do! I have hardwood floors, lots of windows. I do not even know what color to paint my walls. I wish I had a little color in my cabinets, I want them to be fun, but elegant. We live in the country in SC and my house is a small cottage (fence posts and all) colors I already have in my kitchen: my china is pink, my Kitchenaid is a pale yellow, my Hoosier cabinet has green. I'm really an individual type of country so modern like "Black and White" will not work! I want to use multiple colors if possible, and I'll make some painful. Let me know what you think, if you have any interesting cabinets I see the pictures!

Since the colors of things already in your kitchen are pink, yellow and green, I would recommend maybe paint the cabinets creamy hot as antique white or ecru. That will keep your kitchen brighter. In addition, wood White never goes out of style. So it's not so simple, give it a texture by adding the compound to the crackle paint. This will give a country style. To add a little color, stenciled flowers or hearts in pink and yellow with green leaves as accents on the rack. Maybe try a "Swedish Heart friendly "design.
